Handle question
New here and have not come up with a handle I like. Does anyone on cb ever go by their first name like the ham guys do?

Mine is completely made up.
Aughtry 722 (seven double-deuce) AM and SSB. I was given my first CB and figured I Aught to give it a Try, and got hooked. The numbers are the last 3 digits of my employee ID at work.

Re: Handle question
Was going by WAK223 (made up too) short for western Alaska 223. Until Modsquad had a hard time understanding my call sign. He called me "w something". So I started using "Alaska 223" or 223 Alaska. I can use Mtn Lynx but it doesn't roll off the tongue like some of the cool call signs out there like Modsquad Shockwave or motormouth *Censored*... Lol

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Re: Handle question
Nothing wrong with using your first name, I've chatted with many over the years locally that do just that. Generally no issue at all, unless parhaps a couple people in your area do that and have the same name,Fisherman 1 wrote:New here and have not come up with a handle I like.
