Re: TNT Amps
Your collection of amps must be huge after reading all your previous threads.cerberus wrote:What is everyone thoughts on the TNT Brand amps? have been looking at one with DEI 2SC2879 in it.
As was posted before, the Xforce TNT lines of amps are strong on AM and pretty decent on SSB.
After you try out a TNT T350HD or a TNT T600HD, you will most probably be selling your Palomar and RM amps on Ebay!!!!!

Re: TNT Amps
I have a texas star dx350hdv there a good amp. It has the dei 2879 transistors, there not the same as the toshibas. there output are close but in the end they fall a little short on output. probably not noticeable on the receiving end. main thing is dont over volt them, they dont like it.Stay between 12v and 14v good to go.
If youre going to use a hammer use the biggest one you can find!

Never run more than 15 volts with a Texas Star or they WILL die.......even with the Toshiba 2879s.
