Buzzing in my Cobra 2000 GTL

I have an occasional buzzing sound coming from my frequency counter/clock. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing it?

the 1st thing that needs to be done is pull the module for the clock and counter and make sure all the plug in connectors are clean and replace the electrolytic caps inside the module. in most cases this repair fixes the noise coming from the counter.

Thanks for the response Sonoma. The radio hasn't had any issues with the noise for 2 days now. I hope it stays that way, but when I get a chance, I'll check into it.

I was over a friends house and he asked me about a buzz he has in his 2000, I looked at it then unplugged the laptop charger by the radio, the buzzing stopped.
