Welcome to the forum. Westcom was a decent back in the day, it probably has a pair of MRF 455's or SD1446's in it. Not a lot of info out there because I believe the company was short lived and was taken over by Texas Star. Like any amp of that era, low input power is best to save the transistors from frying, most likely not biased for SSB even if it has a SSB delay switch. It's output is determined by the input.
