Post by Big Lou » Wednesday, 28 June 2017, 17:41 PM

Thinking of putting a 102' whip on my 2011 Ram. If you run one I would love to see some photos

I did away with the 102" and spring and bought the 108" whip instead. A lot less flopping around and better swr than the 102. Its mounted on a Tri-Mag with 5" magnets dead center of my Ford F150 extra cab. I also ran a 1-1/4 " copper braid strap from the mount to the trucks frame though it probably wasnt needed. I run this 108 with a 2x8 FB amp and 9914 davis coax cable. SWR is 1.3 (sitting still)even with the amp on:-) A fine tuned BEAST!....

I ran one on a Saturn with homemade trunk mount. Worked great but looked like an RC car!
