Cb radio install grounding ??

Post by tonyvlx »

Going to be installing new Anytone AT-6666 radio in my 2014 Dodge Ram. Going to run 10gauge (25amp fused) lead from the battery. My question is,should i run another 10gauge wire and ground it at the negative terminal on the battery? Or just ground the radio to the closest bolt/screw ? Thanks

Cool, so you ordered it. You can do it either way, me I just run the positive to the battery and the negative to a close good location. I also added a ground (bonding) wire from the mounting bracket to a good ground location if the bracket isn't screwed into metal.
