Hey, that looks like a fun unit. I've been looking into something like that for my once a year trek to the beach to set up for a week. but they are pricey. That's Ameritron 811 kinda money. Are you seeing some good numbers out of it? I love the thought of a simple plug and play powerful unit like that.

Who put the SSB switch on it? I heard they don't put that stuff in their amps. :)

They add the switch... They don't bias it to B though.... And a C Biased Box on SSB doesn't sound pleasant... If they would Bias their box's B I would have bought a 12 or 16 off of them.

From what I hear and read, if you added up their lack of customer phone friendliness and their lack of building what many customers want, they could be much richer by improving those 2 things alone. That's sad for a brand with such strong brand recognition within the hobby but judging by their behavior alone they're obviously busy enough so they're not hurting. I'm glad they're in such a comfortable spot in such a growing industry, where their favorite transistor is supposedly no longer being produced. Maybe they'll go public so we can all buy in and get rich.
