Turner Paint Job

Post by Slim Pickins » Tuesday, 16 February 2016, 16:00 PM

All these photos of mics with new paint inspired me. I figured I would do an old Turner I had laying around. Let me know your thoughts.

Looks neat, kind of ghostly spiritual thing going on there, looking at the base it seems like a skull looking back.

You want it? This one needs a new element to be used. I'm not even sure what model it is. It is not amplified and is different than my 454x.

I used my HVLP spray gun for the green and the clear coat. The skulls are done by water transfer (hydrographic) printing. I just started messing around with the graphics a while ago. They are a lot of fun to do.
