Got my new base going!!

Hey all. I finally got my new base up and running this weekend. Had great weather over here in love country. Got my tower in the air and coax ran. and got perfect readings on the antenna analyzer. Im up in the air 32 feet from bottom of antennna to ground. Im running my favorite cobra 29 black chrome with a astatic 636 chrome. Ive had a blast building this setup and now a bunch of fellas around the pond over here in my town like my setup and tower so much they want me to build and setup their bases! pretty cool. Having fun and loving it! x2!!!!

Congratulations on getting your base all set up.
I just recieved my new Galaxy 959 and hopefully will be getting it installed in my pick up tommorow. Next project I am thinking about is getting another Galaxy to be as my base in the house. But probably wont be doing that until next month.

Great job Sambo putting up a tower takes a lot of thought and planning indeed. What kind of antenna did you install on the tower?

Im running a A99 antenna with rg213 coax with 1.1 swr and 50 ohm resistance. getting very good results with this. couldn't be happier.

Thank ya kindly friend, I like my RCI's, my favorite brand thus far in my 17+yrs talkin...Gonna be adding a Stryker here real soon once I get my tax money back, cant wait to test that line out.
