Galaxy dx-959 LSB very high pitched

Can anyone help me? I have followed the factory specs to the letter, but my lower sideband receive has a very high pitched, tinny sound. Everything, even white noise or static. The AM and USB sound great. Everything is set to spec. Is there a way to adjust the LSB so it sounds normal. not high pitched?

I'm guessing this is in receive mode. It sounds like the LSB is still a little high, I think the LSB specs are wrong on one of the online spec sheets. I'd compare them to similar radios like the Texas Ranger TR-696. Keeping these Galaxy's and TR's on frequency is a chore, best to unlock the clarifier, just my opinion.

I agree, plus it's a fairly simple mod. One of the first mods i did on my 959. Check it out
