Cool site, and an awesome idea to get people together. Only question is why use ham terms on am. Sure its sideband but its still am frequency. Just asking because some of us lowly CB operators don't know or use ham terms. Just don't wanna feel like i have to have a cheat sheet to be able to chit chat with you guys. Next time skip is rolling from your way ill try to get in there and shoot you a wave. BREAKER BREAKER lol

good evening 556. We really don't use the ham lingo much at all. We throw in a ham term once in a while to try to broaden our radio horizons a lil bit and show people that ssb is a lil nicer and proper and slightly less abrasive than AM and the "10-4 driver" that we hear all day on AM. We hope to hear you some time. 73 de Jiggaman

Pittsburgh is just too close to me to skip that way and too far to hit with ground waves. Maybe as the conditions change this summer I might be able to make it.
