CBRT/JJD Radio Talk Show 6/16/17

Ok, seems to be some interest on having a CBRT Call channel, or better yet, a chance to talk to fellow members of CBRT on a specific channel at a specific date and time so to get as many as possible all on the same page at the same time...

SO....Since no one has posted anything (other than interest) This coming Friday at 7:00PM (CST) on channel 31 AM lets see how many CBRT Members we can get on the AIR at the same time!

Channel 31 is not that crowded of a channel (least not here) and is far enough from channels 26 and 28 bleed-over should be at a minimum...

So if ya got it..."Crank-it!"...

Then...for those who may-not have much power or have better luck on ssb, at 7:30 PM (CST) we will switch up to channel 37 lsb and try that for at least a half hour or till Mother Nature pulls the plug.

SO! Friday June 16th at 7:00PM (CST) channel 31 AM for about a half hour, then channel 37 lsb at 7:30 PM (CST)

This should give most a fighting chance to make contacts with fellow CBRT members, and I'll try and get some videogates of anyone I hear...

If anyone has another idea or date, channel, or anything they want considered, I'm open for suggestions...

Well...for as that go's. There's no reason we can't do it both days... What we can do, is have a trial-run this Friday on the 16th, and if things go well, do it again the following week.

Skips been pretty good last couple of weeks, but wait too long, and there's always the chance it won't stick around...

Who knows, it could turn into a regular thing if enough show up..."Friday Night Fights" on 31!

Just got back from lunch break, skip is rolling pretty strong. Hope it lasts. Weather is supposed to be hot and clear for awhile excellent conditions for skip.

Pretty darn quiet here too! Compared to what it's been like the past few days, I was starting to wonder if my radio was working or not...Maybe it will kick-up later this afternoon.

We have had some crazy skip so far this year ..you never know..

Skip just faded out when I got home for lunch, had in state contact ch 19am with Prudhoe Bay, northern Alaska tho. heard distant 38 lsb stations but they faded away. Did not get evening skip last night. Might get some contacts in the morning tomorrow..... No work, Ill give you guys some hollarin from up here I use "223 Alaska" or "Alaska 223" listen for "lightning Alaska" also lol. I may holler on channel 38 lsb
