316 Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you rolling through today. I was up at g-man's quite a bit today and got to meet Duck Commander when he picked up his new S-6. (Nice radio DC, nice rig too. Sharp antenna system you've got there!) Anyway, next time you roll through, drop down to channel 19 and give "Guncrafter" a shout, that's me. :)

I sold a Uniden to CBRT Member "Muddawg" he is stationed @ Dyess. I believe he has a couple of friends out there with radios as well. Send him a PM.

It should be pretty good though, I-20 runs through town, 277 goes south out of Abilene to San Angelo. There are also a couple of big truckstops out in Sweetwater where 84 cuts off to go toward Lubbock & Amarillo.

I don't currently have my system set up. I just found it again and I need to have it gone over by a tech to make sure everything is still in good working order. And I have to purchase an antenna then I'll be ready to walk and talk.

Hey Three Barrel, I'm in Mckinney. I'm guessing you're in the Princeton/Farmersville area. I'm usually on in the mornings on 28, so give me a shout. I don't know if you're from there, but there used to be some big stations in that area years ago around the lake and down in wylie. I'm from Garland and we had a huge group there, not any more. -drdx

I'll try to shout as loud as I can, what time are you on in the mornings? There's someone in Farmersville with a small base, he's usually the only one that will give my little radio a radio check. Be listening for the little radio in the morning. I'm really ready for my General Lee to come in. :o

Well my times vary. I office from home and run the kiddo's to their daytime gig at 7:30. After that, I usually take my time getting back. When I go in, I travel over to Bedford. That's rare, but usually around 6:30 those days. Farmersville is about 18 miles I believe from Mckinney, so it may be a stretch until your general arrives. You're gonna want to upgrade that antenna to maximize that thing. If you need any custom mag mount action, let me know. I make them as a side hobby and can fix you up. Are you familiar with that CB shop in Mckinney? The guy there is nice and carries new stuff too. He's been there forever and has a good local reputation. -drdx
