I was having a real hard time trying to find a spot to mount my 148gtl in my xterra. There is really no comfortable place to mount a full size radio. I took out the map light assembly and
saw a nice strong brace to screw the bracket on to. I was also able to run my antenna cable over the headliner for a clean looking install. I stole the power right from the map lights. All that is left is to take off and lower my rear view mirror. I hope this helps anyone with the same problem. I tried posting pics but cant figure out how
