I don't know about DSL in particular but the speedtest site I use for my broadband connection is WWW.SPEAKEASY.NET. Pick a city near your location and test, it will give you download and upload results, very easy to understand. Hope this helps.

its been awile since i ran the msn speedtest
im suppossed to get 10 to 12 download and 1.5 upload

says i get 9061 kbps download
upload is 1256 kbps

Lol its usually not quite that fast.. My ISP was acting up that day.. More then often I'm around 8200kbps down and over 512 up.. I dont know what was up with it that day..
