ok, i just got this radio from a friend.. its awesome, EXcept for the Adjacent channel rejection... i hear ppl clearly when i'm channels away... how can i fix this.. ?

A good tune up would help (aligning the receiver section), how bad is it compared to your Lincoln and 2510. If you live in an area like me, bleed over is an every day occurrence and not much can be done.

Its very bad compared to the Lincoln and 2510. I can hear stations clearly on other channels. What about the channel guard kit? I was going to also do the receive mod too, but after I fixed this problem..

Try that the kit has a narrower IF filter with less bandwidth it should help some.
