SR-A10 Question?

I have a SR-A10 and on the, Radio it is telling me its no where under 2.0 SWR. Yet I hook up the Astatic PDC2 SWR Meter and its under 2.0 what is right?

Well its mounted to a firestik, http://www.firestik.com/Catalog/IBA5.htm I was told it would work by Stryker. So far so good but the radio says other wise yet the SWR meter says its in check. I also was told to use an external SWR meter witch I have done.

I've never used that indoor antenna, I really don't care much for FireStik. Did you try the antenna that came with that base to see if the SWR is any better? Where is the antenna located, inside or out, inside you would have an SWR problem because of the surroundings.

Well its out side, I am also running a lowpass filter lol or RF Limiter.

what radio are you using, did I miss that info some where. do you have the antenna on some kind of pole? it needs to be off the ground.

Well its off the ground and I am using the Uniden PC787.

just wondering what radio. the cobra 29 radios are bad about the swr light portion is out of spec causing the issue you are having. do not know of an adjustment for the radio you have. way to new to have ran across one as of yet

what did you do to get the swr problem taken care of. some one else may have the problem and what ever you did might help them. any fix you guy's should post it for some one else in the future.

I run a RF Limter DF3000, From RF Limited works well after I raised my antenna to the highest to get 1.5 SWR.

Just to let you know dont run a RF limiter, With out the limiter its like 2.5 plus with it is 1.5 SWR weird.
