Yaesu G-800S Rotator Control Problem

This came with the purchase of my 5 element Jo Gunn beam. The rotar works fine but the indicator sometimes sticks in the control box and will work if I give it a little tap. I removed the cover and cleaned out the dust and applied some light oil to the mechanism being careful not to get any on the belt but it's still hanging up. Any suggestions?

Okay, finding parts for Yeasu rotors is almost as easy as finding a snowball stand in the Sahara Desert. Look up Norm's Rotor Service and email him your problem, he doesn't have parts but if it's complete he might be able to fix the needle problem.

Thanks MDY, sent Norm an email, they don't work on Yaesu and several other brands of rotors due to the fact that there are no repair manuals available.

A manual for the rotor is at "Boat Anchor Manual Archive", another good lookup site and worth bookmarking.
