Even though neither the radio or the amp use very much amperage I recommend running separate power supplies, as the amp draws power the amperage drops and in using one supply it changes the characteristics of both. Just a suggestion.

Roger.

I plan on buying a separate 20 amp power supply for the KL203p.

Received the amp today. Quick shipping (4 days and free) by the sponsor here. Great work! Waiting on the power supply.

Ordered the Megawatt S-312 I think the model is. 30 watts with 33 watt peak. Not bad, $50.00 + $5.00 shipping from California.

30 amps not watts.

Question: Will the 30 amp power supply blow out the KL203p amp fuse? Darn, I think the fuse is 12 amp?

Researched and it seems the 30amp power supply will be OK, the KL203P amp will take what it needs and better than the power supply amperage being too low.
