i would go with a i-max 2000
seriously, he's right. I've got an Imax myself, and I couldn't be happier with it. An Antron 99 is a economical alternative if cash is tight. The A-99's run about 50-60 bucks depending on where you get it. The I-max's are a little more--around 90 bucks. The best part though, they're "plug-and-play". I propped mine up against a shed out back until I got my pole...SWR's were alright, so I ran it like that for a week or two.

Imax-2000=Base antenna 24 feet tall. Great antenna easy to mount easy to set the SWR I have one and I forget it's up there. No maintenance at all. Works all the time flawlessly. About 90 bucks plus shipping. You can't go wrong with the Imax.

be carefull, the swr on that tv antenna may hurt the radio. the tv antenna is tuned to a diffrent frequency. the antron is a good antenna for 50 bucks. the imax is a lil better for the 80 bucks. i think the maco v5/8 will outperform the imax for 75 bucks, but it needs a sturdier mast because its heavier and larger. those prices are with out shipping charges. check our sponsors near the bottom of the page and check out thier antennas. 209

WELL, YOU CAN PROBABLY GET A POLL ABOUT ANYWHERE. RADIO SHACK USED TO CARRY THE POLLS. YOU CAN GET LIKE TV ANTENNA POLES. 5 FOOT SECTIONS THAT THE ENDS FIT INTO EACH OTHER. OR YOU CAN GET WHAT THEY CALL PUSH UP POLES. ONE OR MORE POLES INSIDE THE OTHER THAT TELESCOPE OUT. IVE SEEN 2 PEICE PUSH UP POLES. THEY GOT 4 PEICE PUSH UP POLES TO. HOME DEPOT PROBABLY SELLS POLES. LOWES.?? YOUR PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO GO TO A CB OR HAM RADIO STORE TO GET A A-99 OR IMAX 2000. OR YOU GOT YOU A COMPUTER I SEE SO YOU COULD ORDER IT OVER THE INTERNET.
