Last night the DX was SMOKIN here in the Chicago suburbs...for about 2 hours, a nice little DX window opened up on .375 and .385 LSB...Although I have a pretty lousy antenna setup, I was able to work numbers 377 (DFW, TX), 942 (DFW, TX) and 41 out of Beaumont, TX. Not a bad stretch using an Archer Crossbow antenna lying face down on the ground, eh?
Anyone else jump on that DX when it was hot? Texas was REALLY coming in, sounded like they were next door with a HT.
Its times like this that make me wish I never got out of the hobby in the early 2000's....man I love shootin skip!
