They are a a mid grade battery. If you need a battery that will last a long time under normal conditions, they are great. But you are talking about working them, then you might want to consider something else.
The best all around battery I've ever used is a red top Optima. (Not a fan of the yellow tops.) If you search around you can usually find a good deal on them. Sam's Club and Costco I've heard have good deals on them.
