Marine frequencys?
I've heard that ships use ssb for some of their communacations. Does anyone know these frequencys?

The sideband marine frequencies are for international use. The FM VHF is for national local shore line use. Channel 16 is for emergencies only. It is no longer allowed to be used as a hailing frequency on a secondary basis. This was change about 10 years ago.
