Do you care to share how you got the boom mic, computer, and cb connected? I am sure I can get a signal to my sound card and back to the radio with no problem but, not sure if there is any software you use to modify the frequency bandwidth \ decibels before its injected to the radio. Also do you have an impedance issues that you had to overcome?Ricky wrote:its connected through my computer into the cb. its a ev mercury 611. works very good

i just havested a momentary switch power switch from a old computer case, wired it up as a stock cb mic would be, execpt the white wire, wired a 3.5mm plug to the white wire of the mic input of the cb, ran that one from the LINE OUT of my sound card. used a high grade head set mic and ran that into the sound cards mic input, adjusted and fine tuned with both modulation meter and second cb radio. after all was good, downloaded and install winamp, downloaded the "line-in" plug in, and then downloaded some DSP'S such as echo, flanger all them good things, and away i wentLost Ram wrote:Do you care to share how you got the boom mic, computer, and cb connected?
