That is a nice set-up! How big an antenna you have there? Have you been getting any good skip lately over there in NC?

Thanks...It varies some nights it real clear, and other nights its terrible...the farthest I have talked to one night when skip was rolling in real bad was New Mexico, and texas...but a couple nights ago I heard california roll in there...I didn't try to wave at them everybody around me did and could get him, so I assumed I could so I left it alone.

Nice looking setup!! I have a 142 as well, they are great radios. Just curious, how much output are you seeing out of that Elkin?

Thanks!!! It is a great radio. I have'nt put a meter on it yet, I will try and do it this weekend and I will let you know.

That is a nice setup. I have one radio similar to yours, 40 channel ssb which is a 139 XLR.
