It's a Software Defined Radio (SDR), called a Flex. They make a few models. Never seen anyone use one for 11m though.Radiotracker wrote:wow, high tech cb setup going there. what program is he running?

It's people like you and 181 that keeps CB radio still interesting after all this time.
Totally awesome. Sounded like 181 got his lips cut but his setup still wins in my book with all that flex technology.
Very cool to see how wide your Dago made wideeeeee audio 148 sounds/looks. Trust me, I've heard you from a 148 w/ MMM's 148 wideband RX mods and on a few regular CB/Export's and even on the out of the box exports your audio is like nothing else you hear in DX land. You gated me on a Galaxy 88 without wideband RX capabilities a week or so ago and even on that radio it sounded like my radio was on the FM dial...
Keep up the good work man.
Thanks the Rx ant Tx Has been opened up on this 148 ...... My Cobra 2000 is opened up and ready to go online look out i think it will be even wider then the 148 ...

Well i will see if i can hear ya.....When i shoot Dx i only run 150-250 watts...90% of the time its not about the watts it is about the Antenna....
I hear ya there. I miss my beam from time to time but with this crazy TN weather, I'm glad it's off the house in time for winter and the upcoming tornado season. I'll be yelling for you next time it comes around in the mobile.fortymobile wrote:linx wrote:FortyForty, I hear ya all the time on 28, but since I've dismantled my base all I have going is a little 5 pill. Talked to you on 28 for the first time earlier today 4040. Your signal is normally always consistently strong and today was no exception. Pleasure talking to ya. Have to come on over to the banks of the Wabash River in the spring or summer for some of that goooood fried catfish.

I can't hear you in Canada but, I sure hear the 1000 other people hollering at you. I guess your beam don't get to swing north east too much.... I libe in Newfoundland Labrador, Canada.
