LOL, after reading some of those "lists", I am happy to see I am not Insane!, I am also very jelious of some of those collections!!! Also, If i had all those radios to choose from, I would be wearing out the PL-259 on my ant coax from changing out radios on a daily basis!!

I enjoy having all of the radios I have, although I have my favorites that I stick with (Cobra 25 or 29). I do occasionally switch out radios to one that I rarely use just to mix things up.

I'm a radio swapping fool and I do use all mine. I run one for a few days and them swap out to another that hasn't been run in a while.

I'm not listing accessories like some of you did. It would take me forever as I have over 50 vintage microphones in my collection alone.

Cool thread!

Like many others I have a crap load myself, maybe I will put a list together to see what all I currently have, I actually would be curious to see how many I have.

I too wheel & deal radios so all the buying & selling through the years I have accumulated a ton. I have been planning on selling a bunch of the smaller radios, but just have not got around to it yet!

It is fun seeing how many radios some of the members have & what they are. Again, I will try to find some time & start gathering up mine.

Yes that is 6 fully functional and I have one chassis and one missing the audio chip and meter, bought that one for spare parts. Had 7 and sold one after guy kept bugging me to get one and then he went and hooked it up backwards and ruined it. Think that is what happened to the one I bought for spare parts. Considering buying an audio chip and meter for it to see if it is functional otherwise. I guess you could say the 148 is my favorite radio, I only have the old style side mic ones.

He hooked up the power and ground wires backwards somehow. Keeps saying he will bring it by so I can fix it but hasn't made it by yet.

Hey 385 which Seeker modulator do you have? The 8417 or 6BQ5 one? Just curious as I have both and really like them. They are the same as the Black Cat modulators except for transistorized key circuit and different meter signal pick up.

It's not the size of can but the quality of string used in the install that matters
