My dad wanted a radio in his gator to use on the farm....used a radio, coax, and antenna we already had lying around. Got lucky...swr's turned out great considering the situation.

Ha. That's pretty cool! Buddy of mine has a 2 meter rig in his skid steer and another one in his air conditioned farm tractor.

Nice install, we have a bunch of golf carts running around down at the campground with CB's installed. Where you have the antenna and the type may have helped with the good SWR.
