I haven't done much with my CB setup in my jeep jk for a while (work and other projects). I currently have a 8guage ground wire from antenna mount to frame rail. I am considering ordering some flat wire to do a better ground. Would 1/4" be enough? Should I go with 1/2"?
Some mentioned ferrite clamps on the feed line.
Should I consider one before the other?

The wider the better but 1/4" will work fine. There may be some areas where 1/2" is too bulky.
