Quick question,
I suffer from insomnia and often spend time searching flea-bay for oddities, good deals, unique CBs, scanners, and ham radio equipment. I know the majority of President HR 2510s, HR 2600s, HR 2830s, and Lincolns are mostly made either in the Philippines or Taiwan. Has anyone seen or have a Lincoln or other Presidents made in China? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!!

I have heard of a 2600 made in china. Never seen one. I have a President Lincoln made in the Philippines. It has chipswitch and mrf455 finals. Like new, damn great radio. I can quso with most everyone I hear. I am going to do some searching , looking for a Yaesu FT890at !

I feel a little foolish, of course Taiwan is part of China, and I've seen radios (Presidents and many other brands,) with "Twaiwan ROC." I've seen one President with only "PRC" on the back plate. I guess it's like East vs West Germany, GDR & DDR.
