The 11 meter band is running hot from the north east, here. Getting a lot of Europe coming in around noon into the afternoon. Enjoy the peak of the solar cycle. I hear a lot of locals in the mobiles around here making contacts over the pond.

I haven't heard anything in a few years out from Europe, what channel were you on??

27.385 LSB It was coming in early afternoon to mid afternoon.

I don't have a base setup yet but in the mornings mobilizing, usually eastward, I get a lot of EU. The mobile does well contacting Europe.

Yes, I heard it on channel 38 LSB (27.385). It could be on more frequencies above channel 40 in the "free band." which is illegal to operate up there. The United Kingdom official 40 channel frequencies range from 27.596.25-27996.25.

Yes. It also includes frequencies way below channel 1 way down until 25.000 MHz.

It's really busy down there with a lot of South America skip all the way down to 26 mhz. It's all in Spanish. They are running some serious amplifiers with a lot of long toned Roger beeps.
