Anyone Use A SDR Scanner?

Does anyone use a SDR scanner that plugs into your pc and has an antenna hookup on it? I am looking for a small one that has 100 MHz way up to the GHZ band.

I have a SDRPlay RSP1, bought it years ago, it runs on a secondary PC that I have several ham programs on .

Thanks. I will check it out. Can you use it on the same band you are transmitting on and does it have protection on the front end? I want to see all the signals on the same band along side different bands. Is that possible? I can put antenna #2 on it while using the radio on another antenna.

Oh no, they do make a switch, MFJ had one and I see a couple other brands now but I only used the SDR for searching out signals, if I wanted to TX, I turned it off, it would deffinitly burn out the front end. If I wanted to hear my signal I would use one the web SDR sites.
There is one in Westminster MD that has several antenna configurations on several SDR radios but they seem to turn off all but one.
