SWP general lee is here!!!

finally, my general lee is here...bad thing is, now i have to order a longer stinger for my Wilson 5000. so i guess, i have to look at it for a lil while...lol

why do you need a longer antenna for your wilson 5000? did you cut it to short

If you order a longer stinger than the one it came with. You will end up cutting it down to the same size to get the SWR to match.

well, my SWR's on my meter were showing higher on chan. 1 than 40, so that means i needed my ant. to be higher. bought the longer stinger, and retested, had the same results. tried a diffrent meter, and the end result was: MY METER WAS BAD. actually had to trim the stock stinger...its all ok though, as long as i figured it out...lol

You're gonna need muscle relaxers for your cheek muscles.

So far, my SWP General Lee is outperforming a SWP Galaxy 45MP, a SWP Galaxy 99V, and a long list of non SWP radios not worth mentioning.

We often look to see if the grass in greener on the other side of the fence, but if you're operating a SWP General Lee, or one of the other SWP Connex's, you're probably not going to be impressed with the change to another radio.

yea man, i love this radio, i am taking runs/trips that i would not normally take, just so i can talk on it. i don't think i have ever been impressed with a radio as i am this SWP general lee. normally, i run west of Houston, or north Texas. yesterday, i went to Victoria...lol just so i could talk. thanks again MR RA!!!
