Skip is rolling in MS, made several contacts in Central Texas (heard someone hollar for Duck Commander). I heard Stickman from Virginia about 1:00 central time, I think that he heard me, but so much traffic coming from the Carolina's, we could not talk.

I have been impressed with it. I know that it is not the very best out there, but with the right conditions like we have been having it is doing great. I have talked from Arizona, Canada, Texas, Carolina's, Virginia, Michigan, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, all over US and even more contacts.
It sure is fun, my wife thinks I'm crazy :D :D

howdy road i'm in monticello about an hour from hattiesburg. usually on 19 but sometimes monitor 20... locally i go by triple 3 and during skip 843 in the magnolia state... maybe we can make a contact oneday... on 20 i talk to some of those guys around mendenhall some... are there any good cb shops in your area. there is nothing around here... i need some work done on my radio and other things...

Hey man i didnt know you went by 727 i heard several folks coming back to 727 NJ
i made several contacts on the way home yesterday cant remember most of em
i did talk to 517 in the pile dis morn9in on the way to work and remember BR50 in
da Buckeye for some reason he is the only 1 i remember talkin to yesterday for
some reason i cant to save my life remember any of the others i talked to
382 in da Bighorn back on da mail

I finally heard skip on the Super Bowl, and on channel 11. I hollered out but no-one heard my barefoot GTL. (I had to send back my Gen Lee after I let a local CB gut tinker with it 
) If I'm not mistaken you can shoot skip with a barefoot radio if conditions are right? I hear Oklahoma, Georgia, N Carolina, and more. It's pretty cool but those dudes talk fast and have their own codes I guess. So what's with the numbers and handles? What's "reading the mail". I'm new to the skip thing but it is cool hearing these guys form all over.

Ind Bellybutton
I would like to mention that with my little 'ol Monkey Made I can hear SOME skip out of the US... You would be surprised that I hear the Superbowl channels less than what those guys think they are doing. I can occasionally hear a particularly loud truck driver too.. Not too much skip makes it all the way over here though. But good lord do we get thunder from down under here... Anyways, blink blink flash flash and all that other silly trash.
