Where do you listen during skip?
I want to make contact with some of the members here...but I'm not sure what the most common frequency is.
Hmmm, that has me thinking...maybe we should come up with a "call channel"...a frequency that we all can agree upon that we can check when the band is open that we can use to specifically try to make contact with other forum members.
Any ideas?

I do 28 and have heard several members on there both local and skip. If we picked a call channel, such as 26, it might be harder to run across each other due to traffic. I saw some others also talking about channel 2, but I would think bleed over would be much more likely from 6 when things really get going, and anything above or below the regular 40 would eliminate a few. I do think we need to try to gravitate to a single freq. for am and another for SSB. Who knows, with enough action, maybe we could create our own 'bowl. I vote for the Chili Bowl. :D

This sounds like a good idea.
I have no idea what the locals use here, I listen to 6 and holler out sometimes. Whatever channel is fine with me. I'm running my GTL while my Gen Lee is at RA's getting fixed. When she gets back I'll lose my SSBs. Maybe I'll mount the GTL in my Isuzu, and jump back an forth.
