Good to hear stony. My barefoot SWP General Lee also made it out the the Carolina's today. Some LOUD station on channel 28, guy called himself "Hobo" Did it driving down the big road myself too.

Skip isn't a matter of power, it's a matter of catching good propoation in atmospheric conditions. I shoot skip barefoot with my TRC-465s whenever it gets rolling in...

Unfortunately, my truck, and my radio are both in the shop right now due to a transmission problem. (Warranty work)...
