I was getting all set to spend my afternoon skipping a bit especially after I had made contact with 209 and his first class station in mass. He was keying with the best of them and sounded very 10-8 . This caught me by surprise because he called me and made me recognize that he was a forum member . ..I think I heard some more people who knew me but my phone rang and I had to go out and take care of some urgent buisness which took all evening .. ..bummer I really wanted to show out but what can I say emergencies cant be helped.I knew it was a great skip day because my radio was loaded up ! I apologize to any one who I left hanging because when I got off the phone and turned the radio off people were calling me from everywhere and I just could not key up again..maybe next time ill be ready for the members ,Im going to start getting the locations ready on a sheet so I can track it next time. I had just worked on my antenna too

I was just wondering, back a day or two before New Years when I talked to you, if you were the same Reverend Ike from the forum. I guess I answered my own question by doing a little reading here. Just wanted to let you know I'm almost positive I've talked to you in the past on several occasions, and have enjoyed doing so. You've got 613 walking in your footsteps and the job both of you are doing is impressive. He seems like a good kid.
I will make it a point to keep an ear open for both of you guys. It's always a pleasure to hook up on the air, but when you can talk about it after the fact makes it even better! We had some grand conditions today, but not alot to the north. I'll be listening up for your fine sounding station Ike!!!

Yes thats right 613 is coming along very nicely and has great potential ,he's over there in paradise (skip zone ) with a tremendous signal he's having a bit of technical difficulty at the moment but he will be back in shape in no time talking skip like an air TRAFFIC controller !!
