I use to run a 1x4 on my 139 amp alternator in my Dodge with no problems at all. If you were to add one battery it would defiantly take any strain off the alternator. Two extra battery's and you could probably run a six pill.
You can safely run a 2x4 with that set-up...And probably with just the stock battery...But if you notice the lights dim a bit when you Key, then you may want to add at least one more battery, or up-grade the one you have now, to one that has more cold cranking amps.

the only reason he is asking is cause ill be able to walk the dog farther then he is oncei recieve my amp, and he wats omething way bigger to really put the burd in the corner
