Got my shack in alittle better shape

Got my Gen Lee up off of the table and the rest of my junk in decent order. The other mobile mounted is my first radio, a 148 that I bought in 1990 and is clean as a whistle. This is in a corner of my shop that is behind my house. I can stay up as late as I want and run my mouth on the radio with out bothering anyone!!
Sorry for the crappy camera phone pic

Thanks! I am running two complete setups. The old school is the Washington pushing the 300A to a Antron 99. The newer setup is the Gen Lee pushing a 1X2 Gator base box to a Maco V58. Both setups do really well and both get used.

Not that, in the good way, looks nice and old school, a real operators place of fun. My shack is a mess but hope to have it neat one day. Don't make it too neat, you're not running a museum. No real shack is complete without a few beverage containers and crumbs. -drdx
Yes it's me, Dollar-98, drdx, the original all maul, shot cawla on workin this no-fade technology.

I really like the old stuff and have been fighting off a Siltronix radio a friend has for a few weeks! If I had the money I would load up and old radios and amps. As for the neatness, I just redid it Sunday, it's on a downhill slide! There is often a redbelly or bluegill from the last fishing trip sitting around.

Well you know how those siltronix girls are. Walk up to one in a bar and buy one a microphone and they practically jump in the car with you and ask for a house key and their own shelf. -drdx

Just holler, I'll be at the house or at work, that's all I seem to do anymore..... Thinking of adding a Starduster on the old setup. I am not worried about TVI and then the whole station will be old school!!

Flattop, that's some nice lookin modified astatic mics. They look a lot like a guy that was selling a bunch of them on eBay. Did you do them youself or buy them like that? I forget dudes name, but he built the best D104's I'd ever seen. Maybe something like 31 delta 90? Or something. Maybe I'll remember later.

You got it lookin' good. I like the "Washington" touch. That's my base, too.
