Here is the information I have for it. I had the same problem finding info when I bought mine. I haven't tried any of these mods other than making power and modulation adjustments so try this at your own risk. Mine is the newer model with echo and the conversion is a little different.

Modulation VR16
Modulation Limiter ~ Q-39
Am power VR14
SSB power VR17
AM/FM low power VR18

Conversion
#1 Disconnect the power cord and microphone.
#2 Remove the covers from radio.
#3 Find J2, It is at the front of the radio almost in center, Move the Jumper.
#4 Remove the Frequency Counter module from the radio.
#5 Now you will see J29, move the jumper diagonally across from where it is now.
#6 Re-install the frequency counter and put radio back together.
MEPT690010Z Main Board

VR-1 ~ AM/FM S-Meter
VR-2 ~ SSB/CW S-Meter
VR-3 ~ SSB/CW Squelch
VR-4 ~ AM/FM Squelch
VR-6 ~ Carrier BalanceVR-7 TX Frequency
VR-8 ~ CW Sidetone Monitor Volume
VR-9 ~ RF Meter
VR-10 ~ Final Bias
VR11 ~ Final Bias
VR-12 Driver Bias

RECEIVE IMPROVEMENT!
The stock AM dection diodes are 1N60P Devices, Replace them with ECG-583 Schottky Diodes.

NOISE BLANKER IMPROVEMENT!
D1 & D2 can also be Replaced with ECG-583 Schottky Diodes.

SUPER SWING MOD!
Locate resistor R-264 and Lift the right leg (as you are viewing the radio - component side UP and Front of radio facing you)of the resistor from the board.
Install a 1N4001 Diode in series with the resistor, being SURE to place the Banded end of the diode in the vacated main board hole. This will allow you to Lower the dead key and still have the Full swing.
