i have a D&A phantom 5oo 10 tube right now and only getting 800 out of it. i purchased it with weak tubes. what kind of tubes dose it run and where could i find some new or close to new tubes for it? thank you for your time

Take the lid off of the thing and read the tube numbers. People 'mod' things, they may not be the same as what's originally called for. Do a 'google' for the tube numbers for the availability and price (sit down first).
Do yourself a favor and sell the thing to someone else...

I had a D&A phantom with 8 tubes it did max 800watts and it took 6LQ6 tubes :biggrin:
