WILL SKIP EVER BE 24-7 AGAIN???
Remember the good old days when no matter what time you got on the radio, skip was always there? When will it happen again, any ideals??? Dave

Have faith Eagleman, I figure another year or two and the band will be humming again. Sunspots slowly on the rise. I dont know about 24/7 skip but I can recall the days when the DX was louder than the locals.

On 11 meters the band will never be open 24 hours a day even at the peak of the cycle.
When the cycle peaks the band will open at sunrise and close shortly after dark and will be open to different parts of the world during different times of the day.
Look for the peak of the cycle around 2013.

ten years ago skip was very active like once a week. I see some skip lately. a couple of weeks it was good. seems like everytime I hear good skip I have to do snow removal. grrrrrrrr
