I have a new type RCI-2995DX and feel the same way as well!!!!! Mine feeds into an IMAX 2000 and a Shooting Star beam. TX/RX are just fine. The only thing I wonder is why doesn't the thing double side band when the power is set to minimum? It will key four watts and swing 150PEP with no problem! This should sound like CRAP!!!! If I set my Galaxy up for more then a 1:3 ratio it double sidebands and sounds bad to most people, However, the others that run bad sounding stations say it sounds great and I should open it up more?? I sure wish I could make my Galaxy do this this kind of talking!
