where or where did the skip go I mean it is way too quite on my receive I got this new radio and no skip damn it oh well I know it will come back it just needs to hurry the hell up.

That's because the Solar Flux is at 90 which determines the Maximum Usable Frequency and the Sunspot Number is at 41. Wait till the Solar Flux gets to around 200 and the SSN to 150 then it will be something to get excited about.

I know anything about how to figure out solar flux that is a little over my head but yeah it is coming back and I am happy

Hang in there,,the sunspot cycle is on the rise and by the peak in 2013 you probably wont be able to talk local like back in 2000, (the last peak) I was talking all over Europe on upper sideband on only 100 watts. Daytime traffic will start to increase. I have already made some dx contacts. Be patient,,It will come.
