Galaxy DX2547 mic question
I had a high watt mod done at Clays will it harm my CB to use a Astatic D104M6B powwer microphone.

No it will not harm anything. With any "power" mic you run the risk of "over" Modulation. That radio has a Mic Gain adjustment, take alittle time with another radio station that you can trust to give you accurate audio quality reports to adjust your modulation. When you get it to where it sounds good, make note of the knob position and leave it alone. I use that radio for local talking and have a D-104 mic. It is a great combination.
