MPSH10 VS 2sc2999
Has anyone use the MSPH10 instead of the 2sc2999 for the receive upgrade for the Cobra 29. If so, how did it do? Found the 1n6263 with no problem. The 2sc2999 is an other story. I'm new to this FORUM, so have mercy on me if this is a stupid post ?". thanks all

Just curious where did you get the information to use the MPSH10 vs the 2SC2999.
The reason I ask because it's not a drop in replacement for the 2SC2999 since the pinouts are different and it's designed for use in the VHF/UHF region.

Thanks, I thought it looked wrong, But I haven't read specs. on them for in over 30 years. Just getting back into CB in about the same. LOL.
No big loss. They were only $.05 each.
