Hey guys, I recently acquired a beautiful Cobra 1000 GTL and I am considering to use it as a base station. I've already peaked the radio to 5W swinging 30W, but I am unable to find information on a swing/variable power modification. I would be grateful if anyone can share this information with me. I would also welcome any other modification information for this radio (like increasing microphone gain, etc).
