I used my Iphone for this and didn't know how it would turn out. When the audio gets lower that is the 148, huge difference in sound and the 148 is so quiet I keep turning up the volume and get blasted by the loud locals.

You need a speaker with a good range, not a CB speaker. I heard John Denver the other day on the mobile, it was awful with the external CB speaker. Have not done the Schottkey mod yet just changed the caps.
