Okay I am going to take a give it a try, I have never seen or hooked one up like that. I am not a fan of RB's or noise toys. You have the red and black, don't know if it is 8v or 12v needed. These are just guesses so don't take it to gospel, the white is the audio and the green is the trigger (TX). Now the other two they might be for a switch, (momentary contact), since there is a IC on the board it may have a couple different sounds (beeps). As for installing it in a 148, I would say put it back in the box it came out of, like I said, not a fan.

if you read the instructions it shows adding 2 wires for a on off switch which would give you 6 wires and the 2 wires on the right side of the bottom pic you have posted looks like the same location on the board where you cut the jumper and put a on off switch in its place. the top pic looks as if it is the location on the top of the pic.

The boards do look close and I think I am right about the green and white wires. Look at the board where the other 2 wires are and see if it is marked in any way, ie: sw, tb . The "sw" would be for an on/off switch and the "tb" is for talkback, that would be an on/off switch also.
