The european harmonising might be responsible for this ;)

The EU Directive for CB-Radio says
  • From 26.965 - 27.405MHz
  • 4W AM
  • 4W FM
  • 12W SSB
The German, Slovakia and Czech administratives allow annother 40 Channels between 26.565 - 26.955
(Curious: Theyre Named from Channel 41-80)

And there is more crap like rules on which channel youre allowed to connect a Computer for Digimodes or other Channels which can be used for a Gateway to the Internet and maybe back to another CB-Radio...

Regards
Patrick

Personally , I think it'll be quiet on the cb over here in the uk.. When the skip runs that band of 40 channels is a car crash..

I know about FM, but having not allowed digital use is new to me. (Worked some stations in digital Modes. OK, to be fair i even heard stations in FM :clown: )

Can you give me a link to the official Rules for CB in the US?
